Thanks for the encouragement given to the Mock Trial student! Several participants were overheard saying how fellow teachers and students approached them and encouraged them.  The GACS team ended up splitting both Friday night and Saturday morning (February 5-6) finishing with two wins and two losses.

The Spartans defeated Peachtree Ridge and Duluth High Schools, but lost to Grayson and Brookwood. That was not good enough to advance to the county semifinal round.

Team Coach Gary Crane appreciates all the parents and friends who came out to support the competition.  Mr. Crane says, “Our students reflected our school and Christian standards very well. It was exciting to watch them in the courtroom!  Three students received individual awards: Ty Alston for his performance as the defendant, Tin Lazar also for his role as a defense witness, and Chase Roberts for his role as an attorney.”

We’re proud of he GACS 2010 Mock Trial team!
