AMANDA Komisarow has made a name for herself in a county brimming with talented athletes. Since her sophomore year, she has been a major standout in the volleyball world. She was First Team All-County in 2007, Area 4A/AA Player of the Year in 2008, Area 4A/AA Tournament MVP in 2008, Scholar Athlete All-County in 2008, and First Team All-County in 2008.
For two years straight she has been named in the Gwinnett Daily Post Super Six. That’s an accomplishment difficult to come by in any sport. Amanda has set season school records in most attack kills and most kills. In school standings, she is the fifth for most aces in a season and tenth for most digs.
Amanda has strived in excellence on and off the court. She is an active participant of several school clubs and associations. She is an amazing student and makes a difference helping in the community. Even though Amanda is a dominate force on the court, she shares her success with her teammates. The Lady Spartans have had an amazing start to their season. They’re on their way to another Sweet Sixteen and hopefully a State Championship.
