Dinner Theatre Tickets on Sale

Tickets for the Dinner Theatre production of A Dark Night on Delaney Hill are on sale. The play was written by senior Trey Martin and is performed by the Dramatic Arts 2 class. Seating is limited and no tickets will be sold at the door so please plan early. Dinner Theatre tickets are for April 22 and April 24 at 7:00 p.m. at $25.00 each. Dessert Theatre tickets are for April 23 at 7:00 p.m. at $8.00 each. Tickets may be purchased from Diane Jones in the President’s office on the second floor of the Student Family Center.

“COMMAND PERFORMANCE” for One-Act play SNOOPY!

Patrons of the Arts invites the GACS family to a FREE “command performance” of the award-winning one-act play. This invited dress rehearsal will be the last chance to see this year’s award-winning performance at GACS before our students take the show to the Southeastern Theatre Conference in Lexington, Kentucky on March 4th.

Come join the fun and laughter with Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the gang! The performance will take place on Tuesday, October 6 and Thursday, October 8, both evenings at 7:30 pm and Sunday, October 11 at 2:00 pm in the Sara D. Williams Fine Arts Center.
The musical will compete in the Georgia Theatre Conference October 16 and in the Region One Act Competition November 6.
Through song and childish humor, the main characters are: Charlie Brown played by Aaron Joseph, Lucy played by Rachel Huppertz, Snoopy played by Joseph Arnold, Peppermint Patty played by Hannah Harte, Linus played by Zac Reidford, Sally played by Hannah Holdridge, Woodstock played by Page Parker, Schroeder played by Trey Martin, Marcie played by Brooke Tabor, Frieda played by Jesse Powell,
Pig Pen played by John Keeton, Franklin played by Terry Pendleton,
Five played by Jacob Baker, Eudora played by Brittney Price, and Violet Gray played by Chelsea Mitchell.
The talented voices are accompanied musically by Nick Coker, Hunter Greene, Mrs. Diane Harte, and Connor Singletary. Assisting Theater Director, Mr. Clif Jones, in the making of this production are student director Jillian Bass and technical director Jackson Horne. So come support GACS’ gifted actors and actresses and have fun!
This one will be a joy for all audiences and perfect for the younger theater-goers. It is sure to be a sell-0ut so get your tickets early. Admission is available in advance, upstairs in the Student-Family Center’s Office of Communications, or at the door.
